Trama:
New York, 1946. Nel malfamato quartiere di Hell's Kitchen vivono i tre fratelli Carboni: Cosmo, Lenny, e Victor. Ma la situazione economica dei tre non è brillante e allora a Cosmo viene l'idea di aprire la Taverna Paradiso, una palestra dove si svolgono incontri di lotta libera e dove si può scommettere.
